1976: I join Bank of Scotland.
2001: Bank ‘merges’ (!) with Halifax BS (No – it’s true!)
2004: Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS) makes me redundant.
2007; I start my Leading Petcare Business.
2009: HBOS falls on its arse and is taken over by Lloyds Banking Group.
1) I have not recorded any losses;
2) I have not made anyone redundant;
3) I have not had to pay away any compensation;
4) I have not received any bad press;
5) I have not been involved in any dodgy selling scams;
6) I’m still in business in my own right.
